MSW Student
I am excited to welcome Crystal Zhu, a University of Toronto Master of Social Work Student to my practice! Starting January 2025, I will be supervising and mentoring Crystal in conjunction with Registered Social Worker Ashley Carr.
Crystal is a first-year student in the Master of Social Work program at the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from the same university. She is deeply committed to promoting mental health and is passionate about helping people navigate personal challenges in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Crystal believes in the power of collaboration and strives to empower individuals through supportive and empathetic care. She has research experience in workplace wellbeing at the University of Toronto and has worked with a team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health studying adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Additionally, she has hands-on experience supporting individuals in crisis, seniors, and teenagers.
